GPS data logging
If you need to measure speed, distance, time, altitude, pace and much more, down load data to a PC using free data analysis software, and link to Google Earth (R), then this device is for you.
MyTach captures and records data using GPS technology. So you dont need to be constantly pressing buttons. You can extract data from MyTach manually or, by using the docking device, download to a PC. Connect to the docking device to charge the battery. The battery indicator shows 8 bars when fully charged. A battery life of up to 9hours can be expected when GPS is switched on. Setting up and using MyTach is easy using the four modes: Parameters Menu, Activity Menu, Service Menu and data Recall.
Use the Set Parameters menu to: 1)Select the activity you are doing (Motosport, Running, Bike or Generic). Each sport has different data capture options. 2)Set Units, Here you can change the distance and speed measurement units to suit your activity. 3)Lap management - MyTach enables you to automatically record a time whenever and each time it reaches a pre-defined point (this can be set by GPS) or whenever a certain distance is covered. So if you know the exact distance of (say) a racing circuit, enter that distance into MyTach and everytime that distance is covered it will log a time taken. 4)Set pages - MyTach allows you to choose the data you want to see. A customisation page option is also available. 5)Set Alarms - MyTach enables you to set alarms for a range of different criteria: Time lapsed, distance covered, Speed. You can use this to set targets or advise you of distance covered, speed and time taken and much more. 6)Set time Zone. MyTach will then set the time of day automatically using GPS
Activity pages - Six pages of data are available for you to seslect. Four are pre defined depending on the activity chosen and two are configurable by the user. The following data is stored depending on the activity chosen: Speed (including average speed), Distance, Time (including lap times), Altitude (including slope and variometer).
Stored data can be reviewed on the MyTach screen at anytime or downloaded to free Sports Agenda software for further analysis as required.
MyTach starts GPS initialisation as soon as the device is switched on. MyTach connects to as many GPS satellites as it can find for increased data accuracy.
When fully charged, the battery indicator shows 8 bars. Battery life is approximately 9 hours. Download the user manual and software from here: http://www.aim-sportline.com/mytach/download_eng.htm
